AI Practice Lead / Tech Director
A senior, client-facing role that merges technology leadership with business strategy. You'll manage AI engagements from initial discovery through final delivery, collaborate on sales with the commercial team, develop our AI service methodologies, and represent Enablis externally at events and in the market.
What you'll do
- Direct client AI initiatives from start to finish
- Contribute to proposal development and pitch support alongside the commercial team
- Establish AI service offerings and delivery methodologies
- Represent Enablis at industry events, conferences, and Co-Labs
- Guide AI engineers and internal enablers through mentorship
- Advise on internal AI platform strategy and market positioning
What we're looking for
- Software engineering, architecture, or technical delivery background
- Practical experience with LLMs, agent architectures, RAG, and contemporary AI tools
- Track record leading client AI or digital transformation projects
- Consulting or professional services experience
- Ability to communicate technical AI concepts as business value
- Strong presentation and communication abilities
- Experience mentoring technical teams
Nice to have
- Prior experience building or leading an AI practice
- Established UK technology/AI professional network
- Background with enterprise clients in regulated or complex settings
- Demonstrable thought leadership or industry visibility
