Product & Delivery London / Hybrid Permanent

Delivery Lead

The Delivery Lead is a fully customer-facing role that comes with ownership of client engagements - and, in the new world, ownership of the discovery that shapes them. As Enablis shifts its mix from largely traditional delivery to an even split with AI-native work, this role works across both: leading conventional delivery engagements and our new, value-led initiatives.

What you'll do

  • Lead conventional delivery engagements to the standard clients already trust us for
  • Lead value-led arcs — an assessment in days or weeks, a ~six-week POC build, an MVP with a mandate — that end on evidence, not a calendar
  • Run discovery workshops and structured interviews that produce a one-page problem statement, a named sponsor and a shortlisted use case
  • Immerse in client workflows: map who does the task today, which systems it touches, whether the data is good enough, where a person must stay in control, and what the work costs now
  • Rapidly screen and prioritise candidate workflows on value and ease, building the ranked backlog that feeds a client roadmap
  • Build a defensible value case before and during the build — value the client's CFO can sign off, not cycle-time anecdotes — and turn the assessment into scope, protecting fixed-price commercials from drift
  • Work prototype-led, always showing something tangible, and run evidence-based gates: go / adjust / stop — treating an honest "stop" as a good outcome
  • Plan beyond the POC: the route to production, who would own and run the solution, and the mini operating model that lets it scale
  • Manage stakeholder relationships and expectations across customer and third-party roles, from front-line teams to C-suite
  • Act as a bridge back to central teams: contributing to governance, sharing reusable assets and proof points with BD, and feeding our communities of practice

What we're looking for

  • Strong working knowledge and the ability to embody agile principles, with experience of mainstream methods (Scrum, Kanban, Lean/Startup) and standard ceremonies
  • Able to fit into, or work alongside, traditional project and programme management structures — many client engagements still run this way
  • Uses AI daily and can demo a working prototype with confidence
  • Understands what makes AI delivery different: probabilistic outputs, evaluation and guardrails, and the trust users must build before they delegate to a system
  • Tests agent-user fit: judging whether the AI can do the work, whether users will trust it enough to delegate, and whether it pays
  • First-class people skills and emotional intelligence, with the ability to cultivate strong stakeholder relationships
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, from front-line teams to C-suite
  • Commercial and political awareness, and an instinct for both risk and opportunity — spotting and scoping the next opportunity from a problem lens
  • A clear and concise approach to documentation
  • Willing to embrace complexity and uncertainty, with the energy to motivate and inspire a team during difficult periods

Nice to have

  • Experience pairing with a Commercial Business Analyst on in-depth value models
  • Experience measuring adoption and value against a baseline
  • A creative streak that adds an element of joy for our people and customers
