Consultant AI Engineer
We're looking for a Consultant AI Engineer to help build scalable, production-ready AI solutions for our clients and internal platform. This isn't proof-of-concept work. Working alongside senior engineers and delivery leads, you'll ship genuine AI-native capabilities into production and grow your craft on real client engagements.
What you'll do
- Build and maintain production-ready AI features on our platform and client engagements
- Implement RAG pipelines, agent architectures and LLM integrations to a production standard
- Follow software engineering best practices: testing, CI/CD, code quality
- Contribute to internal AI tools that improve engineering delivery across the business
- Prove trustworthiness with evals: golden datasets, evaluation pipelines and guardrails
- Work with client data: pipelines, messy edge cases and integrations that are harder than they look
- Take part in knowledge-sharing sessions and keep pace with emerging AI tooling (MCP, A2A, and beyond)
What we're looking for
- Solid software engineering foundations with a production-first mindset
- Hands-on experience with LLMs: API integrations, prompt engineering, agent workflows or RAG systems
- Evidence of shipping software to production, not just notebooks
- Proficiency in at least one modern programming language, with the appetite to pick up more
- Familiarity with, or strong curiosity about, emerging AI tooling (MCP, A2A, or similar)
- Comfortable in client-facing or collaborative delivery settings
- A team player with a knack for collaboration and clear communication
Nice to have
- Full-stack capability across front-end, back-end and data
- Vector databases, embeddings or fine-tuning experience
- Cloud experience (AWS/Google preferred)
