Spotlight on our people
Pete Cotton
In his spare time Pete volunteers for AbilityNet, a UK charity whose mission is to “create a digital world accessible to all”.
As part of the volunteer network, Pete’s role involves providing one-to-one support, coaching and advice to support older or disabled people using modern technology. He has helped people with dementia to use the internet, introduced the elderly to video conferencing to keep in touch with their family and taught those with mobility issues how to do their shopping online. Pete has developed a specialism in Apple accessibility products such as VoiceOver through his work supporting those with visual impairments.
